How to add a Therapy Assistant to your child's intervention team.

You need to have an Allied Therapist supporting your child that is happy to collaborate with our Therapy Assistants to support your child to receive more therapy hours.

Connect with us and we will chat with you to ensure we understand the needs and interests of your child to match them with the right Therapy Assistant.

We then organise a ‘Getting to Know You’ session. This helps to ensure it is a right fit for both parties.

We forward a Service Agreement outlining the terms and conditions along with consent to utilise our Portal. This will need to be signed and returned to us prior to the first session.

Therapy Assistants attend regular sessions with the child at the agreed location (home, educational or community setting) to support the child in achieving their goals.

At the end of each session the Therapy Assistant shares information through our portal. The portal is a wonderful way to connect the intervention team to have an understanding of the child's achievements and next steps in achieving future goals.

We check in regularly with our clients and staff to ensure regular reviews occur between Families, Allied Therapists and Therapy Assistants. Under the National Disability Insurance Scheme regulations, Therapy Assistants need to connect with the child’s Allied Therapist on a regular basis.

“We are so thankful to have found Therapy Hive to provide support services for our son assisting with his development and social integration at the ELC. We have seen wonderful progress in his attention span, willingness to explore and establishing positive habits.”
