Therapy Hive Mentors and Support Workers, work with children to develop new skills, supporting them to thrive.

What Is a Mentor and Support Worker?

Mentors and Support Workers attend face to face sessions with a child to help them learn new skills to support their development, building confidence and participation in the community.

It is a fun and rewarding profession, supporting children to grow and flourish.

Mentors and Support Workers  are different to Therapy Assistants because they do not work under the guidance of a Allied Therapist. Our Mentors and Support Workers are guided by the support plans completed by families/carers/clients.

Qualifications Required

Our Mentors and Support Workers need to be passionate about supporting children to build their skills. You must be experienced or studying in the following areas:

  • Allied Health or Education students studying at university
  • Hold a Certificate or Diploma in Allied Health Assistance or Children’s service
  • Hold a Degree or higher certification as an Allied Health or Education trained professional

All our staff are insured by us. We encourage and support further professional development for all our staff.
